- RUEIL-MALMAISON, FRANCE
A village shaped by the vision of a painter.
Claude Monet lived in his house in Giverny from 1883 to 1926, spending more than forty years there. Passionate about gardening as much as color, he designed both his flower garden and water garden as true works of art. As you stroll through his gardens and home, you will still feel the atmosphere that surrounded the master of Impressionism and marvel at the floral compositions and the famous water lilies that inspired some of his most celebrated paintings.
