Turn your little one into a Guerlain apprentice perfumer

To introduce and immerse younger generations in the art of fragrance, GREETS PARIS and the House of GUERLAIN invite children aged 7 to 10 to discover the world of perfume during an outing in Paris, right in the heart of the city of fashion and haute couture.

The House of GUERLAIN opens its doors to children to introduce them to the world of perfumery, a universe once thought to be reserved only for adults. From playful activities to hands-on practice, sensory awakening will be at the heart of the experience, with a special focus on the sense of smell.

The learning experience will take place in two stages.

First, a brief introduction to the world of scents and fragrances, followed by a hands-on workshop where children will create their own perfume compositions. This fragrance workshop will help awaken their fifth sense and raise awareness of the importance of smell, including the ability to detect any loss of olfactory perception (anosmia).

These young apprentices will then draw from their emotional memory to spark creativity and, above all, the desire to create a perfume. This first awareness session will help your children learn how to use “their nose” properly and sharpen their sense of smell at the same time. An essential step to awaken their curiosity and introduce them to the art of olfactory creation.

The exercises are based on a multi-sensory workshop designed to turn your children into Guerlain apprentice perfumers. An introduction to chemistry from an early age! You will see your children become more aware of their olfactory environment and learn to distinguish each ingredient like true experts.
